We are delighted to announce that we are now back at our spiritual home. The White Hart Pub, Eversley.
After a 10 years absence we are delighted to have re-partnered with the White Hart, Eversley to once again become the infamous White Hart Marauders.

Steeped In History, the pub is cosy, welcoming, and full of charm, The White Hart is a hidden gem in the rural village of Eversley, Hampshire, UK.

Dating back to the late 16th or early 17th century, this country pub began as a simple beerhouse in someone’s front room.
Today, it retains its original character while offering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A visit to The White Hart is like stepping into a cosy retreat. With snug alcoves, low beamed ceilings, and roaring fireplaces, it’s the perfect hideaway in winter. In summer, our spacious garden, patios, and BBQ area provide an idyllic spot to unwind with great food and drink.

Another for Marauder at the World Cup! 🏆

Larissa Carvalho 🇧🇷

Larissa joined us in 2023 all the way from Brazil! Quiet and unassuming off the field, direct and skillful on it!

Since her time with Marauders Larissa has been in and out of the Brazil 7s set up, finally concentrating on the 15 a side version of the game. 2026 will see her compete in her and Brazils first World Cup.

Larissa said this about Marauders. “I feel very happy to have been so warmly welcomed by the team. They showed me a new way of playing—very free and relaxed—which was a refreshing experience. Being part of the Wooden Spoon Marauders was incredibly rewarding. It felt wonderful to contribute to such a beautiful cause while enjoying the game and the camaraderie of the team. This experience not only deepened my love for rugby but also gave me a meaningful way to give back to the community.”

Today’s former Marauder competing in this years World Cup is Grace Moore 🇮🇪

Grace Moore joined us for the 2021 season playing then for Richmond and Railway Union as well as making several appearances for Ireland 7s. A powerful speedy runner, with amazing skills, Grace quickly gained notoriety.

A move to Saracens and then Ealing Trailfinders followed. Since then she has represented Ireland in 6Nations sides, WXV1 and HSBC 7s tournaments.

Grace has this to say about her time with Marauders. “I loved playing for Wooden Spoon Marauders, I felt part of the family that instantly. It was great to get some sevens exposure some years back during my off-season. The coaches helped me to grow my skillset even in short period”

😁🏆!!Women’s World Cup 2026 starts this week!!!! 🏆😁

We caught up with a few former Marauders ahead of the tournament.

First up it’s Donna Rose 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Donna joined Marauders from @trojans around 2018. Her no nonsense forward running style soon had opposition players sprawling all over 7s fields. In defence she hit harder than most of the male marauders at the time!!
Donna left in 2019 when offered a professional contract with Saracens, going on to be one of the original full time contracted Welsh women. This will be her 2nd World Cup after competing in New Zealand last time around.

Donna had this to say about her time with Marauders.
“My time with Wooden Spoon Marauders was class, keeping fit and running around with a great bunch of people!! All that and doing it for all the kids and helping where I can! I’ll be back!!”

We wish Donna and her Welsh colleagues all the very best. We can’t wait to have you back involved with Marauders soon!

This years mens player of the season goes to our fantastic French player @emile9990 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 🇫🇷

Emile joined us this season and just got better and better. A fuel tank that never ran out, and an engine that revved to the max all the time! Devastating at kick offs, either gathering or retrieving the ball back. Oh and also this seasons top try scorer!!

Congratulations Emile. Looking forward to your return from France next summer!!

Season Finale!

So our season has ended 😔
Men had a heartbreak losing the plate semi final by 2pts on the last play of the game. They played with grit and determination and signed off playing their best 7s.
Women went one stage further losing the plate final to a strong MoSisters side. They got better and better as the day went on!

We can’t wait til summer 2026…..

Social Media Manager/Creator

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic social media content provider for the 2026 season (May-Jun). The ideal candidate will be either recent graduate or undergraduate studying social media studies or digital marketing. The role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their own experience, but also increase our brand awareness. The candidate should be friendly and a love of rugby is obviously an advantage. The role will include updating all of our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and website) with the goal of increasing our following through social media posts. Although the main focus will be during the 7s season, posts throughout the year will also be required.

The role is voluntary but some travel expenses can be covered.
