Ben has been an ever-present for the past three years and has become a hugely valued member of our rugby family. His calm and polite demeanour, combined with his physio skills and willingness to support everyone, have been an amazing addition to the club. We’re sorry to share that, due to lower-than-expected interest, we have had to postpone our Awards & Reunion event planned for Sunday, 6th September.

We’re disappointed that we won’t be getting everyone together just yet, but we’re still committed to celebrating our award winners and bringing everyone back together. ❤️

🏆 Award winners will be announced next week, so keep an eye on our socials!

🎉 We’re hoping to hold the Reunion before the start of next summer’s campaign, giving us plenty of time to get everyone together for the celebration you deserve.

🎟️ Raffle prizes will also be held over but we may still go ahead with this pending advice from others. Stay tuned!!

Some standout performances deserved a special mention… 👏

🏉 Men’s 7s – Ben Sharples
Defying the years, Ben somehow managed to play more minutes than he has in the last two campaigns combined. Add in a few outrageous goose steps for good measure, and you’ve got yourself a Player of the Day. 🪿⚡

🏉 Women’s 7s – Selina Keppie
Selina was at the sharp end of absolutely everything. Big carries, huge defensive efforts, and relentless work rate—all while wearing the biggest smile on her face. A class performance from start to finish. 🏃🏼‍♀️😁

🏐 Netball – Grace James
The master controller. Grace dictated the tempo, controlled the game, and delivered pinpoint accuracy throughout the day. Calm, composed, and instrumental in every phase. 👑

A true leader from the first whistle to the last. Kas took control both on and off the field, leading by example and putting in powerhouse performances all day long. Relentless in attack, dominant in defence, and setting the standard for everyone around him. 💪

Bjavya’s footwork, pace, and ability to ghost through defenders had everyone scrambling. An outstanding performance that kept opponents guessing all day.

A special memory from the Super 7s Series in Newbury, 2021, when Fijian rugby legend and future Olympic Gold Medallist, Semi Radradra, pulled on the Marauder jersey before heading off to join his Fiji teammates in Tokyo.

We were proud to play a small part in Semi’s preparations on his journey to Olympic glory. Seeing him go on to help Fiji secure another Gold Medal made this moment even more special.

It’s not every day you get to share the field with one of the game’s greats. A fantastic reminder of the quality, commitment, and passion that make rugby such a special sport.

A fantastic day of rugby, great team spirit, and plenty of memorable performances across the day!

⭐ Men’s Player of the Day – Ali Reed
Ali played a huge role in the men’s outstanding Summer Social campaign. The Marauders were unbeaten throughout the group stage, winning every match and earning their place in the final. After a brilliant run, they narrowly fell short against Sinners & Sons, but Ali’s contributions throughout the day were instrumental in the team’s success. A well-deserved Player of the Day performance! 👏

⭐ Women’s Player of the Day – Selina Keppie
While the women were unfortunately knocked out in the group stage, the improvement shown across the day was incredible. With several debutants taking to the field, the team grew in confidence and quality with every game. Selina led the way with a fantastic attitude and performance, helping drive the team’s progress and making a huge impact throughout the tournament. 👏

Congratulations to both players, and a massive well done to everyone who represented the Marauders. The future is looking bright!

Alexander Devine Children's Hospice

Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service provides specialist care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire, South Bucks and into surrounding counties.

Though 2026 tournaments we will raise awareness for this amazing charity and the awesome work they do along with providing much needed funds. So if you see us at a tournament, please help us help them by providing a donation.

After 10 years absence, we are delighted to have re-partnered with the White Hart, Eversley to once again become the infamous WHITE HART MARAUDERS.

Steeped In History

Cosy, welcoming, and full of charm, The White Hart is a hidden gem in the rural village of Eversley.

Dating back to the late 16th or early 17th century, this country pub began as a simple beerhouse in someone’s front room.

Today, it retains its original character while offering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A visit to The White Hart is like stepping into a cosy retreat.

With snug alcoves, low beamed ceilings, and roaring fireplaces, it's the perfect hideaway in winter.

In summer, our spacious garden, patios, and BBQ area provide an idyllic spot to unwind with great food and drink.

Open Position:
Social Media Manager/Creator

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic social media content provider for the 2026 season (May-Jun). The ideal candidate will be either recent graduate or undergraduate studying social media studies or digital marketing. The role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their own experience, but also increase our brand awareness. The candidate should be friendly and a love of rugby is obviously an advantage. The role will include updating all of our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and website) with the goal of increasing our following through social media posts. Although the main focus will be during the 7s season, posts throughout the year will also be required.

The role is voluntary but some travel expenses can be covered.

Who are we?

We aim to play exciting rugby 7's across the UK and the world to showcase our players. We are the oldest invitational rugby 7's side in the world with over 40 years of playing in some of the most prestigious tournaments around the world!

Our goals are:

To enable players to play high levels 7s

Promote players to professional clubs

Place players on international pathways by placing them in front of international selectors.

Many of our current and former players have gone onto play premiership, PWR and international rugby in both XV and 7s versions.
